It’s actually not that weird. Like, you don’t want to just be always talking in your home. I’ve been talking all day at work and Matt prefers not to spend too much social energy in general. We are listening to music and watching football, but we can still comment on things while chilling without interrupting each other, or trying to act lively with each other all the time.

 

Did you guys meet on ap.net or did you know each other beforehand

 

I really find the forum environment a very different means of being social that is easy on social anxiety.


Like. When you want to interact, but do it at your own pace and be more careful with your words, instead of coming up with bullshit filler or being awkwardly silent for half of every conversation cause there’s pressure to respond right away. Or sometimes for me I’m just better at staying focused when I’m busy if I can take short breaks for distractions (it’s an ADHD thing) and little forum conversations are perfect for that.
