You could maybe not be stubborn for once and realize that if everyone else interpreted it that way, maybe you should be clearer, like you condescendingly tell me all the time

 

Except I literally explained myself multiple times and you guys literally just kept responding as if I didnt. I literally clarified and my clarification was rejected.

 

Best through two weeks just implies a different thing to us than what you were trying to say. That’s all I was trying to explain. I didn’t dismiss what you said I responded to it.

 

It’s because you were using his two good games this year as evidence that a trade involving two picks and “the best tight end” as if he actually is the best, when he absolutely isn’t.

Exactly like you were equating Andrews value in the trade with how he has played through 2 weeks so far. I was explaining why I don’t see that like, trading for a 1 a 2 and Ertz. It is much less valuable than that still.

 

By no MEANINGFUL metric is Andrews an elite TE yet.

 

But through the first two weeks, which is what i said, he has been, which is what i said.

So respond to what i said or stop lol

When you called him an “all-pro” / “best” TE, you were talking about trade value. Which is NOT just a “through 2 weeks” convept

You cannot use 2 weeks of great performance to establish that.

I don't care what Leslie knope says, public libraries are awesome. The libraries in my county give you access to free tickets to museums in Philly and nyc.

 

Yeah that was by far my least favorite part of the show. Libraries are dope and, aside from Megan Mullaleys character, I dont get why they were hated.

 

And I was pretty clear and obvious that that trade offer is not a 1, a 2, and an “all pro” / top tight end. In no way does Andrews carry the same value as Kelce and Ertz even if he did go off to begin the season. I responded to something very concrete, and yet here we are discussing semantics.

 

This is dumb but whatever

 

Also, to this point in his career, Andrews has shown a lot of promise to become a more dominant vertical threat at TE like Kelce or Kittle than just a possession receiver like Ertz.

Now, I don’t think there’s anything wrong with being just a possession receiver at TE. I just think there is more room for upside and production for guys like Kelce and Kittle, and perhaps event Andrews, than for a guy who relies more on volume for him production like Ertz.

Mark Andrews is 23 and on a rookie deal, Travis Kelce is 30 and the second highest paid at his position. That also needs to factor into it.

 

Idk man we haven’t seen TJ Hockenson’s year 2 yet either

Evan Engram looks really good and likely has been underperforming because of Eli

There are other vertical threats who are young and carry the same value too

 

You heard it here first: DJ Chark and John Ross III are the best receivers in the league.

 

ok? haha. Is Baltimore going to give us Evan Engram or TJ Hockenson? lol

 

Engram is very injury-prone, unfortunately.
