God, reading that article makes me even more mad at the Lions. What an terribly run organization. Sigh

I miss Calvin so much and am so sad he never got the opportunity to be on a good team.

 

For beat writers Brown makes their job so much more shitty. I feel for them. For radio topics, Felger & Mazz are definitely correct it makes THEIR radio job very simple. Brown is incredibly polarizing and callers only want to talk about him.

However, Felger & Mazz are both incredibly against him on this team and the entire 2-6 has been them expressing their dislike for him as a person and how much the Patriots do not need him.

 

It also sucks just knowing that every other team in the NFL would be handling this situation the same way

 

It’s wishful but I’d like to think some teams didn’t wanna touch him with a 10 foot pole.

My sadness about Ramsey is speaking to you

 

Just had like a 20 minute argument with a coworker. God damn. I’m annoyed.

 

Jags are so stupid. Apparently we only have to beat $15.05M per year (Howard) and $36.5M total guaranteed (Norman) to make Ramsey the highest paid corner.

7 years, $110M, $50M guaranteed. That gives him just about $16M AAV with $7M AAV guaranteed. In what fucking universe is Jalen Ramsey not EASILY worth that. Hell, if he was still lukewarm on that offer, I’d add $10M to both the overall salary and guarantees just so he felt like he got paid / respected for real.

Dareus and Campbell getting old and declining would literally pay for years 2-3 of that deal so we could put most the guarantees in those years. We could also convert his fifth year option into signing bonus so his cap hit is the same next year while he’s also getting paid more of those guarantees.

This doesn’t seem like it should be a hard fucking decision at ALL.

The most annoying part is you could easily tell he was waiting for me to call him a rapist so he could go all in on "well, innocent to proven guilty" so i just kept hammering away at all the other bullshit this dude has done. You can’t eat that cake without the icing bro. Even if (and this is purely hypothetical) the dude was actually innocent you still made a choice to sign the most controversial player in the league.

As much as I’ve loved his attitude toward press conferences in the past... i think Belicheck should be repeatedly fined just like a player would be for not fulfilling his media agreement, he can’t just dip out because he doesn’t want to answer to a disgusting transaction he just made.
