I would 20 times over rather Jalen Ramsey retire than continue to dominate on another team when he should’ve been OUR franchise player :(

 

Ehhhhhh I'd probably rather snag a shit ton of draft picks than go from Super Bowl contender to middling franchise overnight with nothing to show for it.

 

We aren’t gonna get a shit ton of draft picks though. There is no way we are getting what Ramsey is actually worth. Even with two first round draft picks the chances of landing another player like that are wildly slim.

I don’t fucking want picks I want the best CB of the next 20 years. Fuck. Theres 32 first round picks every year but there’s maybe ONE Jalen Ramsey-like talent at CB in a whole decade (maybe). That is why trading him for picks just does not cut it for me.

I would’ve traded several picks to draft him in the first place if we didn’t already pick early enough to take him, obviously I value him more than fucking extra draft picks.

Any team with a competent GM should be able to draft fine and fix the team’s issues without extra picks. Ramsey is worth way more than that shit.

Like who cares if he “requested” a trade. That is just a request. We already signed his 5th year option. He already knows that he has no incentive to stop giving his full effort, and he already knows the team has every right to choose to sit on him.

Why the fuck would we not just keep him and stall the situation and keep trying to win? So maybe by year 6... either we started winning again, or we replaced our staff, either way Ramsey would be happier with those results lol

 

He probably hates Marrone and sees that Khan isn’t good at building a successful front office and coaching staff so he wants out.

 

Because having a malcontent in your locker room for years is probably not the best idea?
