Disagree. Minkah’s a second year blue chip prospect. It’s not like he’s a vested vet who is probably on his way out for a draft pick in the next two years anyways. Signaling a rebuild is essentially saying “put up with this for a couple years and we’ll take care of you with our wild amount of cap space.” Not saying it’s “good” or “bad” for him to be upset about the situation, but if he’s not gonna buy into that mindset, it’s best for everyone involved to cut bait

 

He probably wouldn’t care if the coaches were utilizing his strength/experience. The article I read said he is more upset about usage, not the rebuild.

 

Last night was pretty wild during the lightning delay. We were all stuffed in the concourse area. I saw 2 separate fights. One was panthers fan v panthers fan. One was bucs fan vs cowboys fan lol. Then a small group of losers looted the beer fridge.

It was out of control. Then they let us back in our seats and there was lightning in every direction. But they still allowed the game to continue.

 

I was watching weather reports for the area and legit the storm was so damn tiny just specifically over charlotte. It was funny. It was like god was like "nah, not that outfit cam. Go home and try again."

 

And almost everyone was completely unprepared. The weather people all day had 0% chance of rain. Then a down poor.

I guess I more so objected to the harshness of "can fuck off." It seemed unfair to focus anger towards the guy who's in an admittedly kinda tough spot.

 

I hate it when people say players check out and aren't trying their best. Its completely subjective and founded on nothing. Unless they make it absolutely obvious they quit, I don't see how you can look at all the incentives they have and come to that conclusion. Even on tanking and losing teams, the players have things they want to prove. A player can express disdain for their current situation, but I will still assume that they are giving their 100% on the field.

 

I think it’s more fitting that he’d have a break down.

Miami is two years away from being done tanking and they're choosing to start tanking for someone who might not even be good, let alone elite.
