I just remember seeing the highlights on SC and everyone making fun of the kicker. The snap on that FG was SO BAD haha and no one has said a word about it lol

It’s not “luck” in the sense that the teams aren’t both well prepared and fall ass backwards into fortuitous situations, and that Watson and Brees are insane QBs that are among the best at what they do and deserve a ton of credit for being able to navigate a 2 minute drill with such precision

It is “luck” in the sense that they’re evenly matched enough to be within a possession of each other within 2 minutes, and the margin for error in both of those drives was very small. If the FG hits the uprights or is short, we’re not having this conversation. The Texans have a sustained pattern of losing roughly half the games they’re within a possession of, which is pretty par from the course, and a far cry from the “Watson deserves better than this terrible coaching” takes. Playing to keep them out of FG territory with limited time isn’t the BEST coaching decision I’ve ever heard of, but it’s not as bad as it’s made out to be right now

They’re fine. I think they’ll turn it around this week. Plus, Steelers and Bengals lost and the Ravens were on bye week.
