Memories are nice, but that's all they are. Prestigious

Gary sucked at Michigan and will probably suck in the NFL. Dude was so overrated

in a follow up search it sounds like the Packers DC just doesn't quite trust Gary yet and that's why he played so little. no mention of an injury or recovery from one. although he did get 2 pressures in those 6 plays, so that seems good.

    (:

Well the Eagles will definitely have to rely on the offense, but they don't necessarily have to get another DT. I wouldn't be surprised to see Chris Long back.

Also heard a lot during the draft portion of the offseason that he was overrated so I wouldn’t be surprised if this was the case

    The rivalry is back on

*whispers* the Houston Texans are not particularly unlucky in one score games and benefit from stupid things equally often

Like I said, Deshaun should demand a trade and Houston should consider it because all three division rivals could be in the QB market once Watsons contract is up.

    Not here. Isn't happening. Supporter

To be fair all of those teams have clutch quarterbacks that would beat most teams when they are down one score or less and have the last possession of the game. One minute is a little extreme though.

Big difference between benefitting from stupid things every once in a while (every team does) and executing multiple 2 minute drills and converting them to take the lead just to have the other team immediately take it back (almost no other team has this often)

No ones saying the Texans are unlucky, just that their defensive playcalling is dreadful to close out games which has been shown OFTEN including in games where we held the lead for a decent amt of time and even in wins

Why didn't the long snapper or place holder get blamed for the Jets XP? It was completely botched and the ball was barely ready for the kicker.

(maybe it was the FG attempt I don't remember)

Team isn’t unlucky, just has shitty situational coaching, and us fans suffer through it repeatedly

Yup, weve seen it happen SO often

  19. JRShoenberger

    there is one way out

  20. It was on the FG attempt. 100% not his fault.

  21. I guess it’s the kickers fault the Jets only had 223 yards of offense

I think a kicker making a career long 58 yard game winning field goal as time expires is objectively unlucky/unfortunate (in the same way that the Saints allowing a 2 play, 75 yard drive in the last minute of the game is lucky/fortunate).

Eh kinda but we did a LOT to help even make that possible just like the Saints did plenty to help our players get open. It's hard to call any of it luck, teams prep for so many situations. Its just recognizing where plays can be made and executing which separates the Watsons from the Trubiskys

    Nope. Supporter

The XP hold was very bad too IIRC
