I saw the Chiefs created cap room - are there any even kind of interesting WRs sitting on FA? Colts are maybe in the market too with Funchess hitting IR in the next day or so

I’m pumped for MNF next week. Jets Browns. Two losers who had all the hype this season. One lost by 30 at home to the Titans. The other blew a 16 point lead to the Bills. Some things just never change.

Can’t wait haha

 

Was anyone really hyping the Jets?

 

Yeah, the Jets weren't getting any hype, maybe 7-9 but that's about it.

 

Darnold was getting some hype but no one had the Jets making the playoffs. The browns on the other hand...woof haha

 

I mean they signed a few good defensive players, Bell, and have a second year QB with promise. They were suppose to be better.

 

They went 4-12 last year lol. They will be better, but Rome wasn't built in a day.

 

And the Browns will still be good. But the optics of that on week 1 is hilarious

 

Let's remember Adam Gase is the Jets coach.

 

I'll admit for a stretch I was hyped on the Jets till I remembered this. Gase being the coach ruins a lot of good things about that team.

 

I was hyped for our offseason but this Jets team still peaks at 8-8, but the more likely outcome is 7-9

 

its 1 game in and Gase is already back on his bullshit

I like Darnold but he was bad in that game

I laughed at all Jets “hype” this offseason. I don’t even think they’ll finish 7-9.

Browns, on the other hand, I’m still excited and optimistic for. Not going to hit the panic button just yet. They go to the Jets next week, which I think will be a win. Then they’re home against the Rams for SNF and Goff has played pretty poorly on the road to this point in his career. After that, the Browns go to Baltimore which will be rough. I can easily see this team at 2-2 by September’s end.

The Browns will be fine. Titans just like to blitz more than pretty much any other team so sometimes they win just by overwhelming the opponent’s OL

I think gameflow had a lot to do with that score. Like. The Titans kept punting the ball deep and weren’t letting the Browns get past the 20 half their drives. It’s hard to beat a blitzing team when you keep getting shit field position. I don’t presume that’s gonna be more than just the story of that week 1 game.

 

I expect the Browns to go off on Monday.

They were suppose to be better. They did what the Jets do. The browns are suppose to be better. They did what the browns do. It was a funny week one.

Not meant to be a serious breakdown. Both teams could still be improved.
