This. To say the haven’t really lost anything is not true. They have one of the worst o-lines in the league and one of the worst skill position groups in the league for as long as Green is out for. I don’t see this team winning more than five games

The Dolphins/Bengals game is late in the season too, where both teams should have an idea of where they’ll be picking by then. That’ll be a really interesting game, in a somewhat weird way

I dont either. They're a lock for last in the division and one of the worst teams, I just dont think it's a race for first between just them and Miami

    The rivalry is back on

My rationale for the Bengals being sneaky decent this year is that they’re going from being a Marvin Lewis coached team to not being a Marvin Lewis coached team. Either Taylor is a breath of fresh air and they’re surprisingly competitive (my guess) or he stinks and they’re as bad as people think they are

(I had them at 7-9 on my predictor)

Oh, then I wholeheartedly agree. In my season long prediction, I have them finishing with the 9th overall pick. I can see them finishing with a top 5 pick, but they still have some good defensive players and a few good ones on offense. I think they bounce back for a few wins when Green comes back later in the season

I don’t think Marvin Lewis was ever a bad coach. He certainly needed to go a few years ago, but imo they aren’t anymore likely to be better then they are worse off.

ESPN's predictor thing had the Dolphins at 8-8

if the Dolphins win 8 games with this roster, Flores should go into the HOF

I think he’s Jeff Fisher levels of mediocre, which is honestly fine, but a first year, innovative HC taking over for a stale regime is often a storyline for surprise teams, and CIN is a good candidate to be that team this year

Fair enough! I don’t think they’ll be a doormat I’m guessing 5 wins for them

Yours is the smart and likely prediction but this is one of my few 2019 spicy takes

    thanks, I forgot

also, I tried to hit around 50% turnover from last years playoff teams as I believe that's the normal turnover

I'd be okay with the Saints winning the SB

But not if they beat the Eagles to get there

    Unless they're playing the Pats

Brees deserves to go out on top.

And then trade for Rosen and stay on top

NFL Most Valuable Player: Tom Brady
    -Not impossible but not likely?

AP Coach of the Year: Mike Tomlin? I really don't fuckin know
-Not likely and probably impossible but idfk

NFL Offensive Player of the Year: Christian McCaffrey
    Nailed it

NFL Defensive Player of the Year: JJ Watt
    -Idk yet

Offensive Rookie of the Year: Josh Jacobs
-Nailed it IMO but isn't a hard one to get

Defensive Rookie of the Year: Ed Oliver
    -Def lost this one

Comeback Player of the Year: Cam Newton
    -Even moreso lost this one

    AFC
    1. Patriots
    2. Chiefs
    3. Steelers
    4. Texans
    5. Ravens
    6. Raiders
-I feel like all of these are still in the realm of possibility thanks to the rough shape of the AFC in general but most likely an AFCS takes a WC spot

    NFC
    1. Cowboys
    2. Panthers
    3. Rams
    4. Bears
    5. Saints
    6. Falcons
-Before the preseason started I did this and actually had Packers over Bears. I wish I stuck by that. Also had Seahawks in as a WC that time leaving both Saints and Falcons out (I don't remember what other NFC team I had). My previous NFC prediction was much better.

    NFC Championship: Cowboys over Panthers
    -Oops

    AFC Championship: Patriots over Steelers
    -OOPS

    Super Bowl: Patriots over Cowboys
    -Yeah maybe

    My bottom 5
    1.Cincinnati
    2.Miami
-Both of these are still very possible and it's entirely reasonable that Miami's SOS might cause them to pick after Cincinnati plus they play each other later

    3.Detroit
-This was a terrible pick and I regret it

    4.Tampa Bay
    5.Washington
    -Yup sounds about right still

HONESTLY most of this is correct. Like the Bengals are 0-6 but only two games were lost by more than six points.

  20. yeah but your picks for seeds 3-5 in the AFC lmao

Eagles will bounce back. Or at least they should.

I don’t remember what my picks were, but I’d be interested to see how everyone feels with what we know now and moving forward
