penn state football is like the closest thing to a cult ive seen in sports its weird for real. paterno is the perfect example of why u dont make statues of ppl until after theyre dead.

Hmm. Interesting thought. Philly has a Nick Foles statue and some folks still believe he should be the Eagles QB and seem very cult-like in regards to him. Hmm... same with Jordan... two people still alive who have statues and cult-like following. You may be on to something.
