Seems like every time rockets have a shot at the lead Westbrook throws up some dumb midrange shot.

The only 3-0 teams in the bubble so far are Phoenix and Indiana, did not see that coming.

Grizzlies should fall out, I hope Portland makes it in the 8th seed, would actually be a great series.

Notice I’m only hoping they make it and not predicting it because I want them to make it

I predict the King’s get the 8th seed I guess, RIP

Want to try to get more into the NBA. I fell out of touch with it and NCAA since I stopped playing organized basketball like ten years ago.

Trying to figure out some younger teams with players with solid community outreach and who speak out on current events and stuff like that to choose from. I was born in NC, so UNC has always been my college team (I don’t pay attention anymore really though), so maybe some recent players from there fit the bill?

Any help in finding those guys/teams would be great!

I’m a NY Jets fan, so I’m not afraid of a losing team/perpetual misery.

the community outreach part is tough bc pretty much every team does “something,” and it’s difficult to tell which ones do it as bare minimum gestures and which actually care. they’re all corporations run by billionaires. looking for activism in the league, while it’s better than other leagues, is going to just leave you disappointed.

as for young teams with exciting players, i’d go memphis, dallas, new orleans or atlanta. all have “stars” that will be big in the league for a while, some have multiple.

Sorry I was talking more players who do the outreach, should have made that more clear!

No good billionaires, all pieces of shit

But there aren't non-billionaire owners I don't think, so that's kind of fucked

EDIT: There are a few, Spurs the most class conscious franchise confirmed?

Vivek Ranadivé, Sacramento Kings: $700 million
Jeanie Buss, Los Angeles Lakers: $500 million
Wyc Grousbeck, Boston Celtics: $400 million
Clay Bennett, Oklahoma City Thunder: $400 million
Robert Sarver, Phoenix Suns: $400 million
Peter Holt, San Antonio Spurs: $200 million
