okay I was wrong - the Lakers are fucking pathetic without Lebron

 

the Lakers are basically the Suns when Lebron is on the bench.

 

Lebron is gonna have to play 43-45 minutes a game in the playoffs for the Lakers to make the Finals

 

For real. LeBron goes out and they go down 7 immediately

any team with an all star caliber guard is going to roast the Lakers defense - the Lakers have no one who can play perimeter defense

 

Maybe the best two teams this year are actually in the East.

Toronto is interesting because they typically won’t have the best player in a series (or even one of the best two players in a series) but they’ll have like the next best 6/7 players.

This is the funniest thing to me about the “oh the lakers don’t wanna see the pelicans in round 1” takes

like, first of all, yes they do the pelicans aren’t good, but also the Blazers are such a worse matchup for them, Dame and CJ would go off

 

second round of the East playoffs will be fun. Bucks may have their hands full with the Heat and then you have Raptors against either the Sixers or Celtics.
