i mean we've seen what those supporting casts are on their own. toronto is one of the beast teams in the league. the clippers are a scrappy 8th seed.

 

They also added Paul George to that supporting cast who is better than every player on the raptors c’mon folks haha

Honestly, not a great cap to the night

Also, to the Toronto > Clippers takes, Lebron's Basketball Team lost the first two. He squeaked this one out in full tryhard mode and a good night from Waiters. Lakers shot to #1 on a schedule of mediocre teams. A man can will an entire season back into existence by himself but if he can't beat the "Other Team" down 2 of their best players by more than a single rebound, a certain excruciating fanbase is going to be gloriously disappointed come September.

Games were great but yeah not a fun night

I went to bed, surprised it was close. Clippers full strength should be the better team, but you can’t guarantee full strength and anything can happen.

I'm going in the first week with a fairly open mind. Keeping a close eye on the Grizzlies, Nuggets, Pelicans and Bucks. Watched the Pels game last night and liked what I saw there. Gonna try to let my cheering be natural. Always gonna have a little bit of a bias towards the Grizz though because they'll make me think of my #GrizzGuy

 

Just a couple of #GrizzGuys having a good time, nothing weird about that.

Honestly don't think anything that surprising will happen, but would love if this season was won somehow by a ridiculous run from a fringe playoff team going into the bubble. Just fuck it all up and start talking about asterisks.
