FWIW I was at the doctors the day before and he told me it was all being overblown and just to be a little more careful than usual.

 

March 9th was my first day working from home. And also the last time I stepped into a grocery store for a long while.

From then until now seems like four decades but it was being taken very serious here.

 

Not trying to say it wasn’t being taken serious everywhere. Our close proximity to New York made us act a little faster than some states.

 

It's insane to me how long ago that was ... the first mention in a newsletter was March 6th.

The same week that LAUV released his album and the Dixie Chicks debuted their new single. Now I feel like I've had that Lauv album for four years and the The Chicks album got pushed back, changed their entire name, and then released it.

The NBA was one of the first on the scene talking about how serious it was. They had tests ready to go before most. They were super quick on it. To pretend Rudy Gobert didn't know what he was doing and is just an innocent victim is silly. He was being an asshole, people called him an asshole, and now he wants to cry about it because his star teammate hates his overrated ass.

For over a month, the Mavericks organization has cooperated with Sports Illustrated on a story about an alleged sexual assault by a member of the Mavs’ staff. The Mavs take all allegations of sexual assault extremely seriously and reminded SI of the ZERO-TOLERANCE policy put in place in March of 2018 that includes zero-tolerance of misconduct of any kind such as sexual assault, sexual harassment, bullying, false allegations, etc.

It is concerning that Sports Illustrated published this piece with several facts having been omitted, mischaracterized and reported inaccurately. SI knows that this case was brought to the Mavs with a request for money and merchandise, however the Mavs conducted a thorough investigation into all matters contained in the original email including allegations of sexual assault. The Mavs have always responded immediately every time the alleged victim has reached out during and after the formal investigation process. The Mavs have always been in pursuit of the truth. The formal investigation is currently closed pending further credible evidence emerging and the zero-tolerance policy remains.
