  1. Best thing the Magic have going for them is Issac.

He has shown enough to say that he’ll probably end up with some DPOTY awards.

    Then there’s Mo Bamba.

  2. agreed - he's the perfect type of sixth man

Aaron Gordon would be so much better on a team where he mostly played the 4 and some smallball 5. Instead he's stuck for the most part as a 3. Not his game at all

Yeah drafting Bamba in a loaded 2018 class is pretty tough. At least the Knicks outdid them with an even worse top ten pick

  5. the Knicks will always outdo teams with an even worse top ten pick.

  6. I forgot that they have RJ Barrett tho

Thinking about the current state of the Bulls makes me so depressed. Especially after The Last Dance.

  8. honestly the Suns and Kings had the worst picks in the 2018 draft

Yeah not picking Luka is a fuck up obviously, but at least Bagley/Ayton have shown the ability to at least be starting nba players. That’s kinda more what I was saying

Honestly, those type of guys are sometimes even more damaging in the long term, IMO. Usually, the pedigree of being a high pick makes it difficult for teams to refrain from paying top dollar in extensions unless a guy absolutely flames out. And then you end up with an Andrew Wiggins-kinda albatross.

Granted, that's just GMs responding to dumb incentives, but as a fan, I would want my team's top pick to be a star or to absolutely suck lol.

Anything inbetween and I don't trust most GMs to behave appropriately.

  11. yeah but they aren't worth a top 2 pick because the game has evolved past the need of a big guy like that

Bagley has the potential to become a prototype modern big,
unfortunately he'll never be able to stay on the court long enough for us to see it

  14. Yeah Bagley has a pretty insane ceiling. But his health problems are going to hold him back which fucking sucks.

Ayton is going to be a star. I love every part of his game. You can do a lot worse than a 15/10 guy with rapidly improving defense.

He's got to learn to shoot though.

The team that's owned by James Dolan will always have the worst version of an NBA team.

Edit: I posted this before seeing the Jason Kidd news. Hahaha, that's too perfect.
