i don’t really get why the return wasn’t set for LA as opposed to orlando to begin with. i get they have the disney facilities but there’s no shortage of facilities in LA too and the bubble seems much more under control in terms of cases in LA and CA as a whole than FL. i guess maybe the tourist-level hotels?

Disneyland is pennies on Walt Disney World's dollar.

I thought the reason for Orlando was because the facilities were connected to the resorts so they would never have to leave the campus? I haven’t been to Disney world since I was 8 and my family didn’t have Disney resort money, so I might be wrong about that.

plus the cross promotion between Disney and espn doesn’t hurt

That's why the return was set for Orlando and not LA to begin with.

The NBA doesn't think it's going to fail. It was about having the facilities closer to the resorts so they don't have to leave, you can't accomplish that in LA.

They did so to make the bubble as big as possible. Now it's a matter of keeping that bubble clean.

Not to the extent that Disney World does. The "Wide World of Sports" sets it aside from pretty much everywhere else in the world.

disneyland has it but it is to a lesser level. but they also have all the facilities for the upcoming olympics. it’s definitely the disney/espn/world wide of sports connection

I went to Disney when I was six and one of the only things I remember is almost drowning in the pool. Good times

I don’t know shit about Disney, was lucky I got to go to one half of universal at least once in my life. I hate most rides anyway.
