I have no idea if its the home crowd that helps or the away crowd that sucks but if it's the away crowd hurting them, we're going to see a very good Sixers team in Orlando.

Brett Brown will get outcoached by Brad Stevens or Erik Spoelstra in the first round, and that will be that.

They need to make some serious roster transformation happen in the offseason, but I'm pretty sure that there will be little interest in the parts they're selling.

Still blows my mind that Tobias Harris and Al Horford were the end result of “the process”

Also that individually they have some really solid, to great even, players, but they all are fighting for the same 1-2 positions

Yeah, although he's an all-world talent, I really wonder what kind of haul the Sixers could get for Embiid since he'd obviously command more assets than Horford. And I'm interested in what they'd become if their offensive pace wasn't so plodding.

...what are you talking about? Just because Bill Simmons says Joel and Ben hate each other doesn't mean it's true

You would have to be absolutely insane to trade Embiid. Dump Horford. Attach whatever you need to to do it. Richardson, Thybulle, picks, whatever. Even if you have to take on another shitty contract. Just about anyone in the league would fit better.

My only issues with Embiid stem from his health and fitness, which I haven't seen improved in his last few years. If there's some world where Beal or Klay could end up in Philly, I'd listen.

Of course, Horford could certainly be moved for a bunch of decent pieces, especially a secondary ball-handler and a good shooter, which Philly is sorely lacking. Either way, Tobias needs to slide to the four.

  12. Apparently he’s the former owner? Regardless still a fucking dumb ass - he made a political statement by not enforcing masks If scientists and doctors say masks are effective, but politicians denounce them to further their ideological agenda, then refusing to wear one is the politicized action. Literally. It is the rejection of evidence in favor of partisan identity.

AMC also claims that their theaters will be at full capacity by Thanksgiving, which is also dumb.

And yeah, I believe he's the former owner of the Sixers (as well as Norwegian Cruise Line). He may or may not have been fired as CEO.

Naw, let me tell you when I say he is BROKE that he is BROKE. I know this as a fact now too. There were tons of articles about it back in April that I’ll try to find but I know a few people who would know that say he’s in a bad spot financially right now.

i get the anti "putting money in the owners pocket" thing, but not putting it in their pockets is going to fuck the league for, like, the next two decades lol. literally these next two months are important for the next 20 years of the league. so important.

He should give the team back to Leslie, for less than he paid lol

He took a loan out from Leslie to buy the team!! Haha.

He paid like 400-500 million in cash, put up quite a bit of his assets up as collateral, then got a loan from Leslie to buy the team and idk how the fuck the NBA ok’d that.

Damn, I guess silver isn’t as perfect as he’s made out to be. Also weird that Leslie couldn’t find anyone better to sell it to but it is hilarious that he still owes him.
