I just miss Tatum SZN

 

Do you guys think it'll be anyone other than Lakers / Bucks? Like what's another outcome you could realistically see?

 

Clippers and that’s about it

 

Maybe the Sixers but like...they had so long to get their shit together. Maybe some time apart helped honestly? I just hate their roster construction but they do have a lot of talent.
I could see a .0000005% chance of somehow the Celtics sneaking in if Giannis just goes super cold, Tatum goes Super Saiyan or like a meteor hits Giannis.

Out west, it's the Lakers or Clippers to me and it's not really close to the rest.

Lakers/Clippers WCF just seems predetermined - I am just as confident in the Bucks as I was in March, but I wouldn't exactly be comfortable with a ECF between them and the Celtics or Raptors.

 

I too think it's basically Lakers, Bucks, Clippers, Sixers that could actually make it and I'm pretty set on it being one of the first three. Bucks are just so good rn. Sixers are their only threat and even then it takes a combination of someone getting hot and someone getting cold.

 

unless someone was hampered with significant injury that got healthy over the break, I don't really think this time off benefits anyone or acts as a detriment to anyone more than another. i think the first few games will be a little ugly, but i'd expect it to feel like playoff basketball again very quickly.

 

my money is on clippers bucks, but i could see an outside shot for denver tbh

but the league would NEVER allow a denver milwaukee finals with two LA teams sitting out lol

 

I actually think the 4 months off plus bubble opens the door for some random shit to happen. If I was betting money I’d go Bucks/Lakers or Maybe bucks/Clippers, but in the current scenario I wouldn’t be shocked if the Celtics, Rockets, Nuggets, Or sixers slipped in. Hell, I could even see someone weird like the Heat getting hot and rolling to the conference finals or something

Helped a team like Philly too since Embiid, Simmons and J-Rich were banged up. They still got Al ‘I don’t know what I’m doing here’ Horford tho.

Y'all have any other wild NBA theories that you think would make the league better? Cap slots? No draft lottery? Mid season tournament? Best of 5 series? Lemme hear 'em.

One rule change I’d be down with is that Zion gets to play in the finals, he gets to pick the team he’s on

 

I only said it may help the Sixers because they were ready to MURDER each other before the season was paused. There was so much bad blood and animosity. So maybe a break from that resets the room a bit.

 

I’d love to be wrong but I don’t expect Ben to be 100% and that plus the Sixers dreadful away record I’m not expecting much in Orlando
