Dirk should come out of retirement to join them, too.

Laker's a 67-Win team just like the Celtics last year

I don't care what happens as long as the Celtics get Kemba

I'll return Anthony Davis' $4M trade kicker to him if the Lakers sign Delonte West.

I’m staying bearish on the Lakers, expectations are high but even with max talent and filler they’re not going to be a great team. Gonna be a lot of disappointment.

    Nope. Prestigious

    I still think Kawhi stays

So much for the Knicks getting a meeting, eh?

I'm honestly surprised he's even going to meet with the Lakers. So much for all the talk over the last year about how he didn't want to be LeBron's sidekick.

Seriously. They're going to come out of this with just Tobias Harris, and only because no one else actually offered him a max.

  21. Can’t wait to see how much LeBron James will have to pay Yosemite Sam for his #6 in Space Jam 2

There are very few players in the NBA worth max deals: Harris (and Butler) are not two of them right now. Though I still think the Sixers will get one of the two (maybe not Butler as I had thought as late as yesterday), I wouldn't mind using all of the cap space to surround Embiid/Simmons with quality pieces.

  23. Kawhi gonna do a 1+1 to run it back

  24. Depends how you define "worth" ... there's a lot of teams with cap space and therefore there's a lot of players that will get max offers. If you're a team that can't get someone "worth" the max spot any other way, then they're gonna have to pay a little more to get that player.

Butler and Harris are going to get paid.

lol I know this is "the joke", but Perry has, multiple times, said they only plan to offer the max to the top tier of FAs. Whether or not the FO deserves the benefit of the doubt is debatable, but he's done an alright job so far
