if they go right to the playoffs and all the 9-16 seeds that currently lie in those spots are done, then their offseason progresses as it normally would. if you're a playoff team and you play into july and maybe august, perhaps those teams just have shorter preseason camps/activities since theyre a little fresher, and everyone is ready for October. worrying about impacting next season now when we're only in march is dumb.

 

free agency in like labor day weekend would be kinda wild though lol
