    Fun must be always. Prestigious

retiring someone’s number after 3 season feels weird to me but what do I know

I agree. Had he just left or had they waited to do this once he retired and got into the HOF it would have looked bad. Makes sense to do it now. They definitely lost him because they didn’t appreciate him (or maybe they would have lost him either way, but it certainly didn’t help)

As far as the language of the retirement not being a permanent thing, I don’t think anyone will force the issue in the future because going back on this decision, official or not, would be a bad look.

As much as I love Kemba I think the Celtics have a very low ceiling now

The Celtics are built with the "scrappy guys who wanna win" model that Stevens has done well with, I think it can work. I don't think they're gonna be in 60 win territory or anything like that but it's hard to write them off for the time being, they could implode or they could make it work with Kemba/Smart/Tatum and role players

I hate how bad this Pistons team is, and remembering their at the cap makes it worse lol

Whiteside is at his lowest value going into a contract year. I really feel like he’s gonna kill it in Portland. He’ll be motivated as hell and having Dame as his PG is gonna be big for him

i think the east playoffs look extremely similar next season maybe swap miami and detroit and see if orlando can still hang but those three teams were already fighting for the bottom spots anyway this year so still not much has changed, i think the middle ground has evened out a little bit but not enough i think for a team like boston to drop out of the top 4 or 5. Celtics/Nets round 1 would be great hah

    - I think Celtics will be better next year after the drama is gone. Horford is a loss but I still end up think theyll end up playing better with Kemba and Kanter
    - Good moves for Thunder. Burks should be a good fit

Yeah I'd agree with that, could maybe see a team like Atlanta sneak up there too if their picks end up panning out and Trae Young takes a big second step (especially if the Raptors melt down without Kawhi but I don't think they'd completely miss the playoffs in that instance).

I think this correct. The top 6 are set (though what order they finish is up for grabs), regardless of Kawhi's decision. And then Miami is probably the 7th team I'd slide in. That leaves Detroit, Orlando, and maybe a team like the (shudder) Bulls or even Atlanta to scrap it out for the 8th seed.

Player I’m shocked isn’t signed to any deal is Kelly Oubre

Don't they have 3 other point guards that are exactly the same player? Just doesn't make sense

You can never have too many former lottery pick point guards.
