Kawhi going back to Toronto means Danny green goes back, if he goes anywhere else Danny is going to Dallas

I wonder if the lakers get desperate and make a play for a short contract for Boogie if they miss out on Kawhi

Did any one team get significantly better for the 19-20 year? Feel like a lot of guys are moving, but no one got insanely better. Obviously KD/Kyrie going to BKN is the big story, but KD can't play until 20-21. I don't think Kyrie puts the Nets into some championship contending team for next year.

I really like what the Jazz have done. Even the Pelicans. Boston and Philly just kind of moved some parts around and didn't get much better or worse.

  4. Lakers got significantly better

Warriors getting Klay insurance is a pretty significant move IMO but yeah it's not like they got any better than last season (definitely worse), just better than we expected them to be after the injuries this postseason

Jazz/Pelicans are the best picks for most improvement IMO

  6. League feels more open in terms of parity, until Kawhi goes to LA, at the moment. Which is a really cool place to be after the past few years.

I meant with yesterday and today's FA moves.

I like the moves Indiana made getting Brogdon, Warren, and Lamb. Not sure it makes them better, but I like it.

Also think the Grizzlies made good moves, but again not sure how much better they will be.

  9. I’d say the Jazz, Blazers, and Pelicans all got significantly better

Memphis definitely got better but in a long term way. I think the Jazz has improved quietly and the warriors situation looks a lot less dire but i wouldn’t call it an improvement since they lost two important pieces.

Blazers I got maybe slightly worse. Lost their two 3 and d guys, brought in trash ass Whiteside.... idk about them.

    Jazz and Pels for sure

Kind of expected since they said they wanted him back after his injury, but I think this is great. He is an incredible leadership presence in the locker room and good off the bench. Glad they are doing right by him and hope this is his last round before retiring as a maverick.

I feel like every team got better just because Warriors got worse

  16. Just catching up on shit.

If Portland gets a motivated Whiteside then that’s okay

Not a great look for Blazers

I agree on Jazz and Pelicans. Not sure about Blazers. They lost a lot of pieces and Whiteside can be a huge question mark.

  19. I like the Blazers roster construction way more right now than I did last year, and I don't think it's done.

So now that Kanter is in the same division as the Raptors, how exactly will that work with his visa issue? I am assuming that means he won't be attending those two games in Toronto. And that could also come up again in the playoffs.

    What a bizarrely random scenario.

Is the Klay extension official? I feel like Marc Stein was the only one who reported it and no one else.

  23. Really? We must read different Blazer blogs. Aminu was one of the most frustrating players on the team to watch. Collins getting more minutes is gonna be awesome.

Seen lots of defensive worries from people, lots of Whiteside hate and now the Kanter story.

Collins getting more minutes is a plus though I agree
