Kleber deal has a team option for year 4, Mavs still have 21 million to work with if they are ok with paying the tax. Things are looking up.

Really wanted to see Enes Kanter go to the Lakers with LeBron because we all deserved to experience that.

It’s really not an awful roster anymore. They could potentially fight for the 7th or 8th seed.

Obviously a lot worse than what was hoped for, but it’s nice to see them actually try to put some good vets around the core of Barrett, Knox, and Robinson.

Bringing in some really good three point shooters will help Barrett out a lot. Spacing is my biggest concern for him early on.

    Bullock and Ellington create spacing.

    Portis does too.

Yeah, I mean, shooting guards should be able to shoot threes. That’s true in college as well. That’s not modern nba spacing.

Three of their four front court players aren’t going to space the floor. Have fun with that.

Oh no. Haven’t you been disappointed enough?

You will not be fighting for the playoffs. Don’t do this to yourselves.

Yeah, they were hoping to skip a step and just hope that being in New York someone would come and save them. Hopefully the Nets have shown them that they need to show a little more competence with a promising young core, and then they can start trying to recruit stars. If RJ looks really good they’ll at least be a formidable opponent.

Although Id rather the Clippers cuz then I think Danny Green would go to the Lakers. If Kawhi goes back I imagine Green will go back as well? Idk how the money works out in Toronto

The East just isn’t very good aside from 3-4 teams and one of those teams becomes increasingly more weak if Kawhi Leonard leaves.

There’s always a chance some garbage teams sneak into those final few spots.

I wouldn’t be disappointed at all if they missed the playoffs. It’s not a good team. I’m just not upset that it appears Perry and Fizdale are done tanking.
