I suppose they incompetent enough to have that approach. But what exactly would they have to trade for a disgruntled star? They gave up all of their picks for AD.

The Lakers have 3 players under contract at the moment lol. At some point, you have to actually field a team. Opting for Lebron, AD, Kuzma, Melo, and JR Smith isn't going to cut it. I don't really understand the point of signing Lebron when they are just gonna punt year after year on actually trying to field a championship team.

It is still boggling that Dallas didn't push for injury clauses in the Unicorn deal.

Yeah I understand the whole "we wanna show we believe in you" thing in general a la Drew Brees but not when the person's also a terrible person and you already made a giant trade for him

 

Yeah definitely, I just like the signing and the contract. The offseason is still a very very bad one for the Mavs.
