DJJ won for a dunk that you will see probably 15 times tomorrow

 

We're gonna see so many of his dunks in Dunk Contest highlights in like 20 years and it's gonna be a crazy fun fact when they mention he didn't ever win one

Jone Jr won that fair and square. With the way everyone was talking how Gordon should've had this year in the bag, Jones Jr held his own and had the power behind is dunks AND on the first try. He impressed me more, especially with the off the backboard, jumping over a dude, between the leg dunk. A 3 in 1 with power on the first attempt.... That was wild. Gordon's one-handed 360 was the only one out of his dunks that got me out of my seat. It had tons of finesse, but bringing out the tiktok celebs to dance was lame haha. One of them didn't even want to be there haha.

Loved every second of the events this evening though. They were all good. 3pt Contest was WILD too.

The last dunk being a 1v1 situation, which it was, idk how you think DJJ won that.

 

I liked DJJ’s final one more bc he did his solo. He didn’t use anyone. It was old school too. Now, if it was a perfect vote, then I’d be like wtf bc he was a foot over the FT line.

 

each DJJ dunk was unique. several of AG's felt like slight variations of the same dunk. how many times did he do some type of a windmill over chance? genuinely. 3?

 

Why is it more impressive to jump 7 and a half feet on your own instead of over someone

Bc you’re basically jumping blind. There’s nobody to measure how high you need to reach in order to surpass the goal.

 

Obviously it's a rhetorical question, its literally the same amount of impressive

 

This sounds like no fun, but the judges need to actually be strict with the scores. Everything can’t be a 50.

idk. there's a reason MJ's dunk is still the most impressive in any of these. going from the foul line is pretty absurd. it's pretty much never done. even planet pat can leap over someone

not to mention chance is like 5'6 at best haha

 

That was 1000000 percent not Chance in Gordon's losing dunk I am SURE of that
