Simmons stats would look RIDICULOUS if he played alongside Giannis.

Simmons isn’t playing as well as he was last year but I’d still take him over most PGs in the league. Embiid isn’t getting enough shit for his performances this season and it’s just turned into another “SIMMONS CANT DO ANYTHING!!” shit show.

 

What does Simmons do better than Bledsoe? Bledsoe is just as good as a finisher at the rim and is a better shooter and defender

 

Simmons would honestly not mesh well with Giannis - he’s already a Walmart version of Giannis without the jumper

 

Also how does Giannis have zero FGA in the first sheesh

 

Simmons is a much better passer. His vision is insane. His game looks sloppier this season because Embiid/Tobias/Horford are building houses with bricks most games (like tonight for example)

I’d say Simmons is the more versatile defender too but that’s more based off of him being gigantic for a guard.

I think they’re about equal at the rim but I think Giannis takes a lot of pressure off of Bledsoe and Middleton (Giannis literally gets mauled most games and draws some insane double teams)

Simmons absolutely needs to learn to shoot or just start being more comfortable with doing so. I won’t argue that and I feel like all the Sixers fans in here wouldn’t either

 

nba really needs to figure out how to flex these golden state and new orleans games out of the national tv rotation
