I would really like for Melo to have a competent and not embarrassing season. It was kinda fun to rib him a little bit but it went overboard in a kind of obnoxious way

 

I did not expect the Blazers and Spurs to be this bad, yikes. Some Oracle I am.

Good thing the Lakers will still miss the playoffs and the Kings will still make it. Those remain locks.

As someone who was shit talking Russ, it was mainly because he was clearly stat padding and had the team organized to max out his personal stats, whether it came to letting him get every loose rebound or his end of game hunting for assists even when they were losing. Plus an MVP on a team that got a sixth seed and a first round exit clearly for the narrative of the arbitrary triple double average, which proved to not be so impressive when he did it again like a year later and no one cared because they never should have.

Lebron always ends up getting triple doubles because he's just that good and is always on the court doing everything. Its natural and is a great showcase of his versatile abilities. And its less arbitrary because there is still a conversation about the Lebron statline (27-7-7) which feels much more organic and less forced. Basically, Lebron isn't stat padding for 10's, he's just good, so that fact is cool and Russ still irks me.

shame Lebron's gonna miss the playoffs again

 

Yeah, the Celtics have had this issue for a bit where they do almost NOTHING to change their alternatives. I wouldn't mind their city editions getting weird and out there while maintaining the classic ones for 95% of games.
