NBA twitter debating if Pascal is worth the max extension currently and it’s baffling how many people say NO....

 

I think you obviously have to give him that extension right now just given circumstance, but I also think it’s very possible that we’ll look at that as an overpay in a few years if he doesn’t continue to improve offensively

 

I have faith that the best is yet to come for Siakam. It may just be pre-season, but there are aspects of his game that already look much improved, namely his passing and jump shot.

Considering that he was 2nd leading scorer on a championship team, won MIP and has now been tabbed as the 1st option on a playoff team, he had a lot of negotiating leverage too.

 

I was very impressed in his shooting and passing in those games we played against y’all. He looks like he’s gotten better by a good amount so far.
