I've finally got a chance to really dig into the Cavs schedule and...why in the world are they playing on a Friday at 4 p.m. in Boston on December 27?

Kind of weird to have an afternoon game on a non-holiday Friday, right?

 

Definitely unusual, but I imagine a lot of people end up taking the whole week or the rest of the week off when a holiday falls in the middle of the week.

 

that would be my guess (@aoftbsten). where i work we're closed the entire week of Christmas and the first two days of the new year so it's like 10 straight days off.

 

True...but that's pretty much the case every year. Just odd. I've never seen anything like that on a weekday (non-holiday). But then we play at night on NYE, which is also kind of bizarre, but there are normally a handful of NYE NBA games every year.

I hope Boogie's ok. Even though his mobility was fucked up, he proved he could still get buckets last season and it's always a tragedy when players lose their careers to injuries.
