I mean the harden hate is real.

But Davis is definitely better than harden.

 

Is he actually though? Lol. What has AD done compared to James?

Davis can easily be better than Harden but he isn't yet IMO

Yeah nah there's not really any metric by which Anthony Davis is better than James Harden

 

Beside being a better basketball player, that your own team would trade for in a second and give up Harden, yeah, nothing. At some point you have to contend with the idea that your GM would immediately and not think twice about trading Harden (and toss in more) to get AD if he could.

Any metric? I mean ... he's one of the best two way players in the game and James Harden barely plays what most would consider defense. If you wanna make an argument that Harden is a better offensive player, by all means, go for it. But if we're talking about a complete basketball player ...

 

I would trade James Harden for Anthony Davis because he’s younger and could be better, sure. If I needed to win a basketball game tomorrow, the answer is less obvious to me

We talked with the Pelicans for AD and reports were everyone was available besides Harden so idk if he would.

The James Harden barely plays defense thing is old and hasn’t been true since the 16-17 season. He’s improved a lot on that end granted he’s still not amazing but he’s way better than what he had been.

 

But it's also not crazy to be like "Hey I think AD is better than Harden right now" I should clarify that hahaha

I just don't think he is yet

 

OK, but him being better than horrible, is not the argument ... it's is he as good as Anthony Davis (at defense)? The answer is no. So then the question is "is he so much better at offense than AD that it makes up for it" and I think the answer, looking at offensive stats, is a resounding no. Which means, AD is a better all around player because of what he does on both ends of the court.

 

Lebron could definitely maximize AD and propel him to top 3-5 status this year but right now I’m not putting AD there currently.

 

I definitely believe that Morey didn't want to trade Harden for AD because Morey is a fraud
