If Tyler Herro counts as a young star then I think Miami can actually get it done, that's a big if tho.

But Dragic/Harden/Butler/Bam is a damn good lineup.

Really don’t think doc wants to coach harden after what happened last season

 

The only way the Nets offer gets better is if they threw in Kyrie or KD but like lol they won’t do that.

 

The real question of the sixers is whether their ownership can force their new coach and gm to make a move lol

Is Herro really viewed as a future star in the league? I haven’t seen him play much but his ceiling can’t be so high that you wouldn’t give him up for a guy that has won the MVP and the scoring title 3 times, can it?

Unless you just think Harden is toxic and you don’t want to deal with him, which I get.

 

it seems more like harden spiraling to get out of houston than either team being realistic. i don’t think khris, donte, DJ and picks would be enough for a realistic team to let go of harden. but at the same time, he’s making it clear he wants out so they’re losing leverage and fertita is fertita

 

I think it's a combination of how much they like Herro and not wanting to take on everything Harden brings with him.

 

I can’t think of anyone who fits less with the Heat culture as we know it than James Harden

 

counterpoint: harden is as south beach as it gets

 

No team is going to put together a package that is equal to Harden's value. Houston is going to take somewhat of a hit. The sooner they accept this, the better they'll do in a trade. Let it linger and the return will keep shrinking imo.

 

Trading Herro now while his value is high would be a very smart thing for the Heat to do imo
