if my opinion matters any to the NBA board of governors, i vote Yay in favor of a christmas day start.

i've said before, the NBA currently has my benefit of the doubt to plan something that makes sense and can be safe for the players.

 

Yeah I don’t hate the idea of “series”

 

Between the draft not being until Nov. 18 and FA not starting until ? (Dec 1?) it'd be SUPER tough to get everything lined up PLUS have training camps prior to a Dec. 22 start date, but I. AM. HERE. FOR. IT.

 

my only worry i guess would be how many early season injuries there would be with a limited/shortened pre-season/training camp, kinda like we're seeing every week with football.

 

It's wild that there are teams who haven't played since March, and even more wild that other teams didn't play for four months, then played for three straight months, now will get like, 5-6 weeks off, before having to play again.

2020, y'all.

 

The NBA realizes that with little to no time for training camp the product on Christmas Day will be...not particularly good, right?
