I wish other teams (like the Jazz, for example, since it's been reported multiple times Mitchell and Gobert have heat) got half the speculation about team chemistry that the Sixers do. There is absolutely no credible reporting or evidence that there is any tension or drama in the Sixers locker room. The front office is a mess and from a basketball standpoint the team is put together poorly, but that has nothing to do with whether Embiid and Simmons like each other. It's all speculation from idiots like Bill Simmons

I don't like the chemistry speculation but Philly has such a bad roster situation that there's enough to talk about

Who gets stuck with that Horford contract, and can they even trade Tobias Harris?

The reporting about players not getting along that is this widespread is usually pretty accurate. I mean, Houston fans said pretty much the same thing as Sixers fans when it was reported Harden and Paul didn’t like each other and then guess what? Turns out they didn’t like each other and Paul was shipped out. OKC fans said the same thing when it was reported KD didn’t want to play with Westbrook and then...he was gone.

Joel and Ben don’t get along. That much seems pretty obvious. What that means for the team is anyone’s guess. But to write it off is just silly to me.

Yeah I don’t believe there’s team chemistry issues in Philly, the roster makeup is just bad

MDA as lead assistant for Philly would be smart imo

Here's why I'm excited about Doc Rivers:
1.) One of the Sixers' biggest problems has been accountability. The respect that Doc commands should change that. I think we'll see significantly more development of Embiid and Simmons over the next few years, and this also solidifies for me the fact that neither of them will be traded. This will make veterans like Richardson and Horford happy, too, if either of them are still on the team when the season resumes.

2.) Tobias Harris had the best numbers of his career with Doc in LA and was a borderline all-star there two seasons ago. Will he still be overpaid? Yes. But he should be able to develop a more significant role on this team and is its leader in the locker room right now.

3.) BB was regularly outcoached by guys like Brad Stevens. This should lessen that gap a bit.

The dysfunction on the Sixers is a product of not winning enough to meet expectations and the rather bizarre roster construction in combination with a coach that didn't know what to do with it. I think the Embiid/Simmons problems are probably overblown though I also don't know enough to comment definitively on it. They've both repeatedly denied any issues, though, for whatever that's worth.

East is going to be really interesting next year.

I'm sure there is some level of competitiveness between them, as there would be with many all-stars on the same team. I don't think both of them will play their whole careers in Philly. But there's no way you can watch the Sixers and not conclude that the poor on-court fit is the reason why the team looks awkward and frustrated.

I think they hate each other but that’s only because that’s the reality I want to live in.

No idea go Lakers. Winning championships is "King shit". The only king thing Giannis does is rest while others are still putting in work.
