With these injuries it’s seeming likely. Huge huge bummer, imagine defying the odds to make the NBA Finals for the first time and having multiple players injured in the first game, so heartbreaking.

I see what he's saying, and honestly if there was a sport where you could have no head coach it's basketball, but the rotations and taking people out is scary.

Imagine Kyrie is like 1/19 and Durant tries to sub him out and he is like "Nah imma sub myself right back in"

Like Nash would still be in charge of that right? Just let the players call their own plays?

He’s probably just saying that he and KD have an important role as leaders being the best players on the team, even though the way he said it was stupid

but in reality I don't see Steve Nash having a problem with that kind of thinking. From what he was saying on JJs podcast it seems like he's looking at the job as more of a manager of personalities rather than running the team from an Xs and Os standpoint

kyrie is just always playing 4-D Chess in his mind, we cannot relate to him.

  14. Didnt Kerr just kinda let GSW coach themselves? Or at least employ that level of thinking with the amount of talent/egos those teams had?
Obviously not to the extent of “Oh KD you got the next play, Bud”

KD saying it’s a collaborative effort isn’t too far off tho imo

My wife and I are watching Sister Sister and Kobe randomly is in this episode. Think it would have been his rookie year. Still can’t believe that was THIS YEAR

I’m skeptical Cus Philly is a pretty volatile situation and Doc couldn’t get ahold of the CP3 and Blake teams and even a stacked team last season.

  22. Philly did pretty decently last season without an actual head coach tho

I mean they got smacked in the first round(no Simmons) but still That team was suspect and did not seem like they liked each other. Just seems like a toxic deal currently as a basketball fan.
