I think it was a guy from The Athletic on a Ringer podcast a few days or a week ago that brought up a good point - Giannis has never just come out and said he wants to stay and will stay in Milwaukee. He hasn’t even said he’ll sign the super max, which is... Idk kind of weird. He’s saying other correct, nice things about making Milwaukee a championship team and blah blah blah but has never come out and squashed the rumor mill around him leaving.

Sure, he could say it and still leave, but it does seem odd he hasn’t said “yes I’m staying here and signing the super max if offered”.

Look, I’ll the first to admit that on face value it’s insane that LeBron hasn’t won MVP in nearly a decade. But then you look at who actually won it and you can’t really complain.
And even though he coasted the least amount during the regular season that he has in quite some time, he still didn’t turn it on until the calendar turned to 2020. Giannis was in the player of the month discussion every month and therefore deserves the W again this year.
