  2. “Milwaukee plans to bring back coach Mike Budenholzer, sources said, and he will work with general manager Jon Horst and ownership on reshaping a Bucks roster that has played better basketball in the past two regular seasons than it has in the playoffs.”

GM Bud is worse than playoff Bud fwiw

  3. I kinda find it funny that a shorter rotation and more minutes for the best players is a thing an NBA coach couldn't figure out and actively decided not to do in round two of the playoffs.

I don’t get it, they could’ve had brogdon for much less than chris paul and then used him to trade for a better point guard if they wanted?

i honestly think their plan was “we have giannis, losing brogdon shouldn’t effect our finals chances.” which, uhhhh.... but at the same time, literally everyone except people with a brain cell was saying this after they didn’t pay brogdon too

No matter what happens tonight we've proven that we can hang with the elite teams. Next season (whenever that happens) should be dope

I don’t think our shitty world will allow a Nuggets win tonight but I hope I’m wrong

I would love a Nuggets win tonight. Very likable team (outside of MAGA Porter of course).

I know we're all riding high that we got to finish out this season so it hasn't really been talked about much, but i'm really curious to see the NBA's approach to next season. You obviously can't do a bubble for a full/slightly condensed season.

I think a structure of condensed season with regional bubbles and built-in breaks might be sustainable. Of course, that doesn't necessarily sound revenue friendly.

Hmm yeah the built in breaks might work, didn't even think about that, cause yeah, you're not gonna convince these guys to spend a regular season amount of time in a bubble.

What would regional bubbles even look like? I think why Disney has worked well is the amenities they have on site, not sure where you can find regional bubbles that offer the same kind of amenities.

  16. regional bubbles - imagine the Bucks only having to play the Pistons Pacers Bulls Cavs and T-Wolves all season long lol

  17. I’m leaning Denver tonight but part of me thinks Kawhi won’t let them go home (even though he hasn’t been very good)

That, I'm not entirely sure on. In my mind it would be four bubbles but I'm not sure what other locations are out there that could top Disneyworld. Does Disneyland have a similar ESPN campus? Vegas could definitely work as well.
lol they'd be the first team to have a perfect season. I think if there were built in breaks, you could rotate teams so a situation like that wouldn't happen. You could even stagger breaks between groups so that there are always some games going on while others are on break.

Regardless of what happens tonight, conference finals should be a blast. As long as we don’t end up with a Clippers/Celtics finals, I’ll be satisfied.

Tonight is the fourth game 7 of the playoffs. In 2016, 2014, and 1994 there were five of them. With three series left, I wonder if we can get to six??

yeah i've heard of a few rotating bubble theories that I like. spend like a month in one bubble doing round robin essentially with the teams, move on to the next bubble. doing one bubble where you're just playing the same 5 or 6 teams repeatedly based on geography is very dumb.

i think it depends how the NFL does. With seemingly everyone in each organization at every level having those wrist monitor things, if the NFL doesn’t have issues the next 6-7 weeks I imagine the NBA gets those and follows the same protocol and does all the travel. A lot less people involved in NBA teams so if the NFL doesn’t have issues I can’t see league owners wanting to follow suit for basketball.

Yeah that's true, I just don't have high hopes for football, I think we're going to see outbreaks in the next few weeks now that they're traveling
