I didn't watch too many Raptors regular season games last year but I thought Danny Green was awful in the playoffs outside of Game 1 of the Finals.

I think the Lakers will be in the 4-6 range in the West, provided LeBron/AD stay healthy. I think they'll definitely struggle in the early going as they all get acclimated to one another. Not sure how much of a slow start they can afford in the West though.

    Yes

I legitimately just forgot the Celtics, but now I’m standing by it. No Lakers no Celtics in the 2020 playoffs. The Oracle has spoken, and the only takes worth predicting are hot takes.

I absolutely think Danny Green is being a bit overrated.

Danny Green goes completely ice cold for long stretches of time, much like a lot of the Lakers roster minus Bron/AD. That team is going to struggle a lot when those two sit

If maga bro MPJ even has a slight impact on the rotation the nuggets will still be top 2 in the west.

Are you referring to my post? Cause that's definitely not a hot take lol it's a pretty established fact

Hot take maybe? But I don’t think so. This is the best team talent-wise that Lebrons ever been on. Obviously the Heat team is the best because of chemistry but this is the most talented roster LeBrons ever been on with arguably the most gifted (not best) players he’s ever played with.

That combined with what he did in Cleveland and seeing him drag awful teams to the Finals every year especially that last year in Cle it would really surprise me if the Lakers don’t make the playoffs and don’t make noise

I get it’s a hodge podge team with a whole new roster and coach and system so many questions but minus last year where he was injured and knew there was no chance anyways LeBrons always found a way and he will make this work as long as he stays healthy.

  13. Wade and Bosh and Allen were a better team than this roster.

AD is the best player he's played with, but Wade was awesome those first two years.

Yea I’d say you are right actually just because this new one has done nothing yet and honestly i forgot about Allen lol I’ll say though I think this team has the potential to be better. I feel like Lebron and AD has the potential to be a better duo than Lebron and Wade plus depth wise I think this roster has more talent than the Heat. If Cousins has any kind of resurgence and Kuzma continues to ball I think it easily has the chance to be LeBrons best team.

Whether it fits together as well as that Heat team is a big if. Hope it does

  19. I am curious how a second year back from the injury treats Cousins. I really don't know how to predict it. It could go either way, but if he has another injury setback, I'd be really worried about his future after this year even being in the league.

Even though i can’t say I’m a huge of their personalities I’m really rooting for Cousins and IT this year. It really sucks their injuries cost them so much money. Crazy that IT was a fucking MVP candidate a few years ago

i feel like im supposed to hate Westbrook but he is way more fun than Harden.

People are hating the idea of now but if Westbrook to the Wolves actually happened, i'd be super happy supporting him. His shit in Utah also made me sympathetic towards him more than maybe I should be.

Davis is better than Heat Wade, but Heat Lebron is better than Lakers Lebron.

Outside of LeBron and AD...who can you trust on this Lakers roster? Health or performance-wise?

I'm sorry but the Cavs had way better rosters than this from 2014 through 2017 and could have won it in 2015 if not for the injuries to kyrie and love and again in 2017 if not for the addition of KD to a 73-win team. To call those teams awful is quite a take (I'll give you 17-18 as not great).

LeBron, Kyrie and Love is a very good big 3 and they surrounded all those guys with great shooters in JR, Channing and Korver and had hustle guys Iman/Tristan/Delly who did the dirty work.

And those Heat teams were also unquestionably better than this Lakers team.
