I assume the excuse that would be given would be his defense, but I think it ultimately comes down to Dantoni refusing to go more than 8 deep in the playoffs.

 

+/- generally doesn't mean all that much, but the Rockets are -40 over the past two games with McLemore on the bench. They're +14 when he's playing.

 

Got it to within 6 and then Russ blows a layup and turns it over a few times. Now back to 16

 

Some of the Rockets' attempts at the rim (mainly Russ, but Covington's another notable offender) have just been atrocious.

 

I wonder how much of his minutes have coincided with the minutes when either LeBron or AD are resting. Regardless, he’s been in when they go on runs.

Yeah, I'm thinking the same. Russ' contract is so awful that I could only see a star-craved team like the Knicks being interested. Gordon's contract isn't too terrible, but just long. I think they could find a potential suitor for him, though.
