All unexpected developments in Bucksland

 

Yeah my initial thought was wait if shes a bubble resident why the hell is this as big a deal but then realized the testers probably leave and come in every day or whenever the tests are, so, still sorta dumb.

 

I just don't see how you can look at the last 2 years and think "yeah, Bud's gonna do something different this time to get us over the hump next year." He's literally just George Karl lol (without the obvious shitty baggage of Karl)

 

right I agree - it could be a combo of things 1. keeping Giannis happy 2. Bud is owed like 9-10 million dollars 3. unless Dantoni or SVG become available who really is better?

 

i mean he played middleton bigger minutes (out of necessity) in the last two games - it's possible that his criteria for what necessitates different rotations in the playoffs has changed. lol but not likely

 

he shouldn't have to wait being down 3-0 and losing the MVP to play your second star big minutes lol

 

i miss afternoon games

 

but reserve the right to not miss complaining about them when it was the bucks

 

i do think he’s much better at developing players than karl. obviously both do a fair amount of work themselves and do a lot of credit, but he deserves some credit for turning giannis into a two time MVP and khris an all star. giannis was young but had a few years of experience and khris wasn’t young at all when he got there

 

he’s honestly an ideal assistant. i think he does a good job of “unlocking” players. but he shouldn’t be the decision maker with a game on the line.

Definitely agreed on the player development. My point with the comparison was really, great regular season coach but can't get over the hump in the playoffs. Like with Karl, it's obviously better to continuously make the playoffs every year, but at some point you need to cut your losses and realize he's not the guy to get you there.

 

I mean it's fairly obvious that next season will be the make or break year for Bud

 

So the league has “circumstantial evidence” against House but nothing concrete. The female staffer said she met up with Tyson Chandler and not House.... Chandler is allowed back with the team but not House?

the whole thing is super weird for the league to not have any concrete evidence and make a guy sit out.

It really makes no sense to have House sit out and not Chandler as well based on their circumstantial evidence

the NBA is really going to need to lay out their logic well on this one
