This is the problem with Ben’s profits over everything mentality about literally everything he does.

 

It’s definitely poor verbiage - I think the NBA is better run but the NFL is probably better at marketing it’s players

Hardly anyone knows the best defensive lineman on some random mid-market team. And the NBA players that wanna be marketed do a damn good job of it I think. But that’s them and their people doing a lot of it. Maverick and LeBron, KD and Kleiman. Giannis isn’t as big a star cause he hasn’t done what those guys have done on the biggest stage.

 

It’s 100% better at marketing it’s top stars

 

Having the best player in the league play at lunch time every single game also doesn’t help

 

Apparently some safety got the biggest contract ever for a defensive back today and honestly I’ve never heard of them. And I keep up with the NFL pretty well.

 

Giannis had Nike’s biggest sneaker launch in the company’s history and he’s a worldwide super star
