Imagine how much power 30 billionaires would have to actually get something done if they wanted to vs. painting a lot of messages that have no effect on systems of oppression.

Right, I mean, all of these players are literally there with one another too. Then you have the unique circumstance of the time crunch. How long will the nba (and Disney) be willing to just keep these guys there while they strike? Testing them and all? I’m not really sure what they could accomplish or if they would all be willing to go down this path collectively. But this opportunity to make these people put their money where their mouths are is definitely unparalleled.

I’m sorry that Dame won’t be out there on the floor tonight when Portland’s season likely ends. He was Herculean in the bubble.

But I’m glad it isn’t something that would have kept him off the floor when the season returns...whenever that may be.

 

Don't think it will happen but definitely support a boycott if they wanted to go that way

for the boycott to happen, they need a player of actual stature to get behind it. jaylen and brogdon rule but they aren't going to really move the needle. lebron cares about his money and legacy too much (not a slight, he has earned the right), but it's going to take a superstar at that level that is actually contending to say they're boycotting for it to actually have an effect.
