Yes why would people be more interested in a game when it’s close and an upset is happening versus the expected blowout. It’s very confusing.

 

Any chance that we can get an NBA draft thread going? I fear draft talk might get lost and I also don't want to bog this thread down when people are watching the playoffs.

Fine.

Some draft takes (I don't think many of them are of the hot variety, just some thoughts)

1) The only player I'd want draft if I was in the top 5 is LaMelo (and I'd feel pretty skiddish about that)
2) Kira Lewis, Jr. could end up being the best player in this class.
3) Okongwu is very good, but he has obvious limitations that make him overrated by draft twitter.
4) Grant Riller deserves to be a lottery pick in this draft
5) I'm generally very high on Devin Vassell and Desmond Bane. But I hate the idea of Vassell having a top 10 pedigree and, eventually, getting top 10 money.
6) Xavier Tillman will be better than Weisman

 

Well one, yeah it was, it was a three point game at one point in the third. And yeah, people are posting eyeball emojis when the best team in the league are getting their ass kicked! Of course they are!
