We looked like poop for most of the first five games, looked excellent in game six

Preds have certainly not looked “Jets in 5” poop. They actually controlled the last three games of the Avs series. It’s crazy to think either team would win that series in less than six games. Just look at the season series.

 

Bruins always look like trash against the Leafs. I'm not too worried about it just yet.

 

Yeah I'm aware obviously. We tend to play down to teams so I'm really not too worried. I wouldn't be totally shocked if we lost in seven to the Jets but I would be totally shocked if the series went less than 6-7 games, regardless of who wins

 

Also I'm not buying on the Sharks being all that good

 

Preds in 7
Knights in 7

Caps in 6
Bruins in 7

 

Whoever wins game 1 in preds vs jets wins the series.

 

I just don't think it matters all that much in the NHL where the bracket rarely, if ever goes chalk anyway, but I get everyone's gripes, I just happen to enjoy it

 

Yeah, the way I see it right now we're getting 4 Conference Final-worthy matchups. And whoever comes out of this round is only going to be hungrier, battle-tested and ideally confident once they actually do reach the CF's.

 

Although obviously I want to see us go back to the Cup, after my initial period of depression I would be very stoked about a Knights-Jets WCF

 

I’ll be happy with anyone out of the West. This Nashville vs. Winnipeg series is going to be a blast from a neutral standpoint.

 

If the Lightning lose, then Go Whoever Wins the West & Fuck Boston.

Will they ever change the rule that you can only get 1-3 or 6-15? I've always thought it was weird that 4 and 5 were like exclusives picks.

 

Yeah, Preds/Jets is a total stalemate so i'm expecting a sweep for one team because hockey is weird.
