The Kings being swept would make me 100% okay with the Ducks getting swept too. Had the team dead in the water months ago anyways.
Is there any team in the NHL more boring than the Kings? That’s the one series I have no urge to watch
If the Wild want to beat the Jets all they have to do is land shots on net because Hellebuyck is playing like he did last season.
Visiting family outside Miami and lost power last night right before Jackets-Caps OT started which sucked but it's still not back on yet which means I might have to find somewhere else to watch the Bolts game tonight.
I am not pleased to say the least that the Preds games tonight and Wednesday don't start until 10 pm eastern when I have to be at work before 8 am M-F. Being a fan of western conference teams in NHL/NBA really costs me some sleep this time of year...at least the Grizzlies were terrible so it's not a late game every single night like some years
Part of me wishes they would move the Preds to the east when Seattle joins the league, but A) that's a pipedream that makes no sense structurally for the league and B) the rivalries in the central are too good. I'm with you though, these games being at 10pm (8pm local time in Colorado) is so dumb. Kind of the hand you're dealt when being by far the eastern-most team in the Western conference.
Yeah I like our rivalries, especially with the Blues and Blackhawks (as well as the growing one with the Jets) way too much, but it's worth noting that if we don't move to the east then the Blues or Hawks probably will (assuming they don't want two more teams in one conference than the other).
When Seattles joins, the only realignment that should happen is one of the Pacific teams moving to the Central. Probably Arizona. Then we would have four divisions of eight. The NHL will probably screw it up though.
Nashville being in the west is stupid and I'm sorry but that has to change. It's like Indy being in the AFC South. Do I hate the Colts? Absolutely. But you know what I hate more? Lies.
So if Nashville goes to the East, which I would like to see, who goes to the West? Somebody has to go to the West if it were to happen for alignment purposes. I'd personally love to see Nashville slot into the Atlantic to be in the eastern time schedule and play the Lightning, Bruins, Canadiens and Leafs regularly. Send the Wings back to the West I guess, but it just doesn't make sense.
