lol "beard removal" A simple trim and shave won't do, no. We're gonna need all sorts of high-tech shit to remove that thing. It's a very complex procedure.
Is it guaranteed that Seattle will get the same expansion draft rules? I could see them editing it a bit so each team has 1-2 more saves, but not sure who has to approve that or whatnot.
nothing official yet, but everything seems to be pointing that way according to all the national guys
the sharks are a terrible team and I hope golden knights win the cup multiple times while they flounder at the bottom
If they're worried about Seattle being too good then the other GMs should just avoid dumb signings that rope them into making stupid trades. The EKane news shows that probably won't happen, though.
If you're gonna give up picks so they won't take a good player you better make sure it's literally your shittiest player
Everyone was fine with the team Vegas picked at the start of the season. I'd have to think the GM's have some sort of trust in their head coach. Didn't Claude Julien not like that kid from Boston? I wouldn't be surprised if Tortz said that Karlsson was a bum. Just speculation.
Ya If you're shelling out more than 500m US for a team I think the current rules for the expansion draft is fair.
it's gonna suck having the entire first season (or first three seasons) compared to Vegas. "ohhh, you didn't sweep your first ever playoff series? LOSERS!" "ohhhhhh, you didn't make it to the Final in your first year? ahahahaha what a joke your franchise is!!!!1!!1!!!" interestingly it could lead to a rivalry between Seattle and Vegas, but probably not.
Carolina is going to have a much tougher go around dealing with Seattleās expansion than the last one
I need to see what their roster would look like had no side trades been done and they just were forced to pick 1 player from each team
Yea, I'd love a hypothetical if someone can find a solid blueprint of what they were originally going to take. Maybe in 5yrs when vegas hasn't made the playoffs since the Stanley cup, McPhee is with another team and they're being pressured to move to Atlanta/Milwaukee.
Any reason why they didn't expand with two teams at once instead of this following year type of stuff? Seattle wasn't ready to pull the trigger?
I think Seattle's arena wasn't going to be ready in time...or at least that had something to do with it I am sure @xkj1985x could add more
