The biggest reason to be optimistic about Josh Allen is that we’re all armchair scouts

Including the actual scouts and analysts

 

If you have patience he could be fine in 3 years. He needs the most work of the top 10 QB but he has the most potential. However, if you dont have faith in your coaching staff... Well, Bills prolly gonna Bill tbh

I expect a Bortles esque trajectory. If its any solace I am content with Bortles now. Took the whole four years for him to actually become decent, but its better than QB purgatory

 

But... I think we all hate him

Well their QB coach was previously a WR coach if that conveys to you how much faith I have in the staff on that side of the ball.

I think I hate Kolton Miller more than josh Allen but it's real close

 

I mean that's the real reason why the Bills are bad haha. They need personnel with a better eye for QB / better development skills. Ain't never gonna break the Kelly curse until you do that.

That said, it's weird we got a playoff year out of your old staff. In Bortles' case I think hes just stayed on his technique and kept working with trainers. Hes openly admitted he was embarrassed about having ugly throwing technique, and losing us games because he kept fucking up and throwing awful balls.

 

Also pretty cool that Cam and DJ have already worked out/thrown together at an Under Armour camp. Cam took notes on "offensive guys" and told the staff who he liked. Moore was obviously his guy too.

 

Hackett sucks but they were decent the Kyle Orton year because their defense was so good. Any competent QB that year and the Bills were probably in the playoffs with Saint Doug instead

 

One of our drivers, who barely speaks, was bouncing around today and all excited. Evidently he's from Maryland haha.

That would’ve been awesome. I bet that’s why they pulled the trigger on the Bryant trade in the first round. So they could use it as ammo to move up.

So apparently Guice got into an argument with Howie Roseman and Joe Douglas when he was in Philly for his pre-draft visit when they asked him about his partying.

I guess that is possible but I've seen a few Philly guys (radio and what not) that have said that its not a smokescreen and it legit happened.
