Colts, Titans, and Jags all had good picks. Derwin should've been the pick but Vea is a boss. Vea + McCoy is scary interior.
The Browns draft is so weird. If you blindly told me they walked with Mayfield and Ward I would be pumped and also assume they traded down haha.
Yeah Sonny is def not what I expected the Pats to do at that point, but I'm certainly okay with it. A nice explosive back with Kamara comparisons will be fun to watch for the probably few games they'll ride on him. Unsure if they'll make him a two down back with White on 3rd down since they have 23 running backs it seems, but it'll be fun. My only concern is if there is a good QB left in the 2nd round to replace Brady. I hate waiting until next year when this year they had the ammo to move up for a Rosen or litererally had Jackson twice.
I didn't watch the Combine for some reason, ive just been checking numbers this off-season. Bryan, at 6'5" 295 40' - 4.98 sec Bench - 30 reps Vert - 35 inches Broad - 10 feet Stupid athletic and an amazing first step, to pair with skilled hand combat, a violent punch, and the fact hes already used to dealing with double teams. How the hell did he fall past pick 15 is my question? Because, damn. Must be the one year as a starter / lack of prolonged production because he was behind Bullard for two years.
Or Ed Oliver. It all makes sense. John Dorsey is a genius, how did I not see this before. man this franchise rules.
I would have gone Darnold and Chubb, but Mayfield was my second QB and I like Ward. I would have been on board with Mayfield, Chubb, and then Jackson to start the second. Dorsey and Williams have had success identifying good corners so I just sort of have to trust them on that. It's not like Ward isn't a good prospect. We needed a good man-press corner and that's Ward as a prospect. Perhaps Williams was really wanting that position filled and they were comfortable with Ogbah's progression. I think Taylor will be traded or cut at some point. I understand why Browns fans are upset today, but even though I would have made different choices, I don't see it as simple as Gilbert-Manziel.
Manziel/Gilbert is an incredibly lazy comparison. Mayfield is the right QB for them, just a bit of a reach. Ward is a stud and I don't know why people are so adamant on taking Chubb tbh. Ward fills a much bigger hole.
What's that baseball movie, the Rookie or something? Wasn't there a daughter romance interest that movie? I'm probably wrong haha. Edit: I think I am combining two Quaid movies. The Rookie and the Footloose remake.
I'm not drunk anymore I'm fine with the Lions pick, we need O-line help and he seems really good. Landry's injury history is apparently worrying teams. Go out and get some D-line help today (or go and trade up to get Guice plz)
