So my next question is if the Browns do take Mayfield at 1 and Darnold is there for the Giants at 2, how do they not take him and let him fall to NYJ? I can't see them letting that happen.

 

They could be dumb.

What I'm not getting though is that IF Darnold is NYG's preference for QB, how are the "experts" still calling for them to draft Barkley? I don't see that happening.

 

If Denver does that than Barkley at 4 has to happen.

 

If Barkley and Chubb are both there at 4 I still see Dorsey taking Chubb.

holy hell I haven't thought about Jamar Taylor in so long

 

He was actually pretty good in 2016. Not so much in 2017, but he’s on a cheaper contract extension. They might get an okay pick on day 3 for him.

I’d really prefer Darnold. Mayfield’s better than Allen, but I just hate the value of taking him #1.
