Maybe trying to bait the Jets into trading up for Baker. Who knows.

    I want Darnold and Chubb.
Based on what I can read, I think it will be Mayfield and either Chubb or a trade down at four.
The narcissistic/beaten down Browns fan in me fully expects Allen at one and a trade out of four.

There’s a theory that Dorsey has been giving smokescreens to different staff members as a new GM to find the leaks in the FO

Not sure how much validity that has

Darnold/Chubb would be dope. Wouldn't be surprised if it went Darnold/Ward though.

Too bad Woody is the ambassador to the UK or whatever and his brother or son, who seems to not be a complete shitbird, is running the team right now because I would love this scenario

Out of blatant curiosity, I wonder how many people would actually stop following the Browns if they took Allen at 1.

Woody still does shit, he definitely has as much say as before. I doubt his brother would cross him but it would be hilarious

I've changed my mind from the Giants are taking Barkley for sure to, maybe they're just pretending they don't like a qb so they can trade down, take Lamar and no one will trade above them or some shit

This is definitely one of the more interesting drafts in how the top 10 will shake out

Yeah, I'm cool with them drafting a player that won't do anything for them for at least three seasons.

The Jets prefer Darnold over Mayfield. I just don't think they ever thought they had a true shot at him until last week.

I have an awful feeling of dread in the pit of my stomach that will not go away until Josh Allen is off the board or the Bills pass on him. I would actually rather take Mason Rudolph at 22 than Allen at any pick. I have no faith in them to be able to develop him at all.

This is generally true for a few reasons. The way Wyche from the NFL network, who is one of the few media folks inside Berea described it is that Dorsey wanted to close out the leaks from the building and find out who he can trust. From Wyche's reporting and interviews yesterday it seems like he did that and what's coming out now is more of the poker/card game tactics that Dorsey referred to in his press conference and interview last week. He also reported that they have their pick decided, Hue was involved, and that Haslam has signed off. I think some of that was posted in the tweets yesterday. They had a meeting for yesterday evening and will have one today as well to make sure everyone is on the same page. I also think they are meeting to discuss potential trade compensation so that the people working the phones know how to proceed today.
