  5. Mayfield is a Jet actually. But if the Browns want Allen they are guaranteed Allen at 4. They have to go Barkley 1st

Barkley Allen sounds like a high school lacrosse player at a prep school in New Jersey.

  10. Do people only hate Hayden Hurst because of his age? The more I read about him the more I like him. I know he’s older than your typical rookie but he seems like a fairly safe pick. He wouldn’t be bad value at the end of the first.

  11. He'll be 29 when his rookie deal is up. That's older than Watkins will be when his SECOND deal is up.

  12. I get it. But if he’s a guy you love and think can step in day one you will still get 6-7 good seasons (barring injuries of course). Not a lot of players give a team more than that anyways.

  13. For a team picking at the end of the round, a playoff team, it’d be good value. Those teams are in their contending windows.

  14. I don't think he's better than Goedert or Gesicki necessarily. He's definitely got the highest floor though, I'll give him that. It wouldn't be the end of the world if the Jags took him. The Eagles honestly would be a great fit too. I don't see him behind someone so much as beside someone. But yeah, give me Goedert or Gesicki before him.

  15. I guess it depends what you’re looking for. Those guys might be better if you’re just looking at pass catching. And they probably have a higher ceiling. But Hurst is the more well-rounded player. Good and willing blocker, lined up all over the field, good route running, nfl ready size. And as far as his pass catching ability, he had 100 receptions at SC and 1 drop. So he’s solid there too. Just seems like a very safe pick.

  16. Yeah Hurst is the better blocker. I just really don't like the idea of getting a guy whose gonna be 30 when his rookie deal is up. I'm sure he's on the Jags radar though. Local guy and he's one of the few guys we have met with at every opportunity.

One week from today I am going to wake up full of dread after the Bills trade up to #5 and select Josh Allen even though Rosen is still on the board. I am preparing myself for this and I still won't be okay with it.

I'm more nervous about the Bills completely ruining this draft than I am about my daughter being born some time in the next 3 weeks. Is that weird?

  18. I’m not advocating him as the Panthers pick. There are a few other guys I’d prefer. But I wouldn’t be mad if it happens. I have a feeling teams are really high on him and I think he’ll be the first TE taken.

  19. It's probably you distracting yourself from the much bigger thing haha. Cause realistically, you aren't getting Josh Allen haha. He's a Brown or a Bronco.

  20. I've given up with the tight ends. They'll go where they go and they'll do what they do. I'm bad with that position haha

  21. Broncos should draft Nelson and roll with Keenum.

    I like Hurst a lot

    I wouldn't hate taking him at 42

  24. Oh yeah I'd take him in the second for sure. I wouldn't be shocked if the Jags take him in the first though.

If he goes off the board at #1 (or #3 assuming the Bills are not moving to #2) I'm going to be so relieved. Outside of him, I really don't care which QB they take....Even if it were Rudolph at 22 I would not be super enthused by it but I could deal with it. I'm definitely distracting myself a little but but I am not nearly as nervous this time as I was when my son was born. It probably helps that my wife didn't spend a week in the hospital at 35 weeks pregnant this time around because that, let me tell you, was one hell of an adventure.I
